Are Tsinghua's admissions standards 'preferential'?

As the top university, Tsinghua should not lower its admission standards for any students, foreign or not. Otherwise, it will be degraded by unqualified graduates. What happens if they let unqualified foreign students in? The result is they will graduate with a Tsinghua diploma. This will not bring any credit to the university.
