The Asia-Pacific Dream is more than just the well-being of China alone; it seeks the common prosperity of the whole region. With China's development over the past decade, some overseas media have exaggerated its negative influence and promoted a China threat, the Asia-Pacific Dream deals a blow to such irresponsible words by displaying China's sincerity and goodwill to all its neighbors.

World history has witnessed plenty of dreams, of which only a very few come true at last. The dream for half the globe will need the joint efforts of all in the region; that in turn requires all members of APEC to cooperate with each other and build channels in terms of economy, communication and culture for interconnection.

One of the hot topics of APEC 2014, namely Asian integration, is expected to be a new growth point for the Asia-Pacific economy. A more deeply interconnected region will boost both business leaders confidence in the region and rally investment. According to a recent survey by PricewaterhouseCoopers China of about 1,500 entrepreneurs in the region, 46 percent are confident business revenues will increase, and about 60 percent plan to build data centers, plants and retail stores in the next few years.
