Fujian committed to fighting against corruption regarding poverty funds

Fujian province plans to conduct a two-month campaign to check corruption in the use of special funds for poverty alleviation, the Fujian commission for discipline inspection announced Dec 1.

The investigation will focus on the management and use of such funds since 2013. Officials responsible for any cases of corruption discovered will be punished.

The commission is also going to implement regulations to combat corruption concerning those funds.
