Pingnan’s focus on project quality spurs rapid development

The Baishuiyang HOPSCA renovation project -- a complex featuring hotels, offices, parks, shopping malls, clubs and apartments -- is under way in Pingnan county, Fujian province. The county promotes growth by attracting high-quality investments and offering comprehensive support.

Pingnan emphasizes project quality rather than quantity, setting high standards for investment. Project quality and effectiveness are top priorities. The county now has 392 planned projects covering seven categories with a total investment of 14.38 billion yuan ($2.32 billion).

Pingnan will promote its presence in various areas with the help of chambers of commerce in five big cities, including Shanghai.

The county will host a culture tourism festival and attend trade fairs, including the 17th China International Fair for Investment & Trade held in the city of Xiamen, Fujian.

Preferential capital and land policies will also be established for investors. Pingnan will organize communication activities among local governments, banks and enterprises to handle issues during project implementation.
