Subway Line No.1 to begin tunneling in August

The construction of Fuzhou Subway Line No.1 is to have entered the critical stage.

The planned Subway Line No.1 is 29.2 kilometers long. The beginning station of phase one of Line No.1 is Xiangfeng Station, and the terminal station is Fuzhou South Railway Station. The operating line is about 24.89 kilometers, and 21 stations are planned along the line.

Except Tieluohanshan station, Fuzhou Railway station, Dadao station, Shangteng station, and Lulei station, where the work of relocation has not been started, all other stations have started construction; and 14 stations have entered the stage of main work construction.

Huluzhen station begins full excavation and foundation laying

According to the relevant person of the construction company, the main structure of Huluzhen station is 195 meters long and 17.8 meters wide. It has three entrances and exits. The construction is carried out in two phases. Phase one involves the construction of the main structure, No. 1 and No. 3 entrances and exits, and No. 1 ventilation pavilion; and phase two involves the construction of No. 2 entrance and exit.

According to the person in charge, Huluzhen station and Huangshan station began fencing and construction in June of 2011. In January 2012, both stations completed the construction of the underground diaphragm walls and are excavating the station foundation pits. The excavation of foundation pit at the Huluzhen station is in full swing and the deepest point is 8 meters deep.
