The woman, surnamed Wang, was in her friend's car when another vehicle, driven by a man surnamed Zhang, deliberately rammed it. The collision caused a fire, and 90 percent of Wang's body was burned. Zhang was charged by the local procuratorate with the crime of endangering public safety. The compensation case will be heard soon.
