Sleet, snow to hit China
BEIJING - A new round of cold snap will bring rain and snow to most part of China in the next three days, China Meteorological Administration (CMA) forecast on Saturday.
Snow or sleet will hit Northeast and North China from Sunday to Tuesday, and Tibet autonomous region's southwestern part will see heavy snow from Monday to Wednesday, the CMA said.
The upcoming cold front will chill northeastern provinces with temperature dropping by more than ten degrees Celsius, according to the administration.
The administration asked authorities and citizens to brace for the adverse weather as many will travel next week ahead of the Spring Festival holiday.
