I think the Chinese authorities should introduce some legislation requiring all shopkeepers to display fixed price labels. This is done to prevent customers from being ripped off and to ensure that the shopkeepers can make some decent profit.

China has millions of small and mid-size shopkeepers; if these people can earn a decent profit for their businesses, then these shopkeepers can become middle-class income earners , and they can contribute to China’s economy by virtue of their buying power.
