Spring break: Encourage kids to get closer to nature

Spring is finally here, so are the leaves and flowers. On your next hiking trip or a visit to the park, pick up some beautiful leaves and flowers (preferably those that have fallen naturally as we don't want to teach children to hurt plants!), and get creative.

Different shapes of leaves can be combined to create an animal, or press a flower on a piece of clean linen for an au naturel flower painting.
