Festival pushes boundaries

An avant-garde micro-film festival takes place at K11 Art Space. Four segments present the work of four artists: independent animation director Liu Jian, freelance poet and writer Wu Qing, experimental filmmaker Shen Chaofang and Mao Chenyu, a cross-media documentary maker. The artists work in a diverse range of media and styles, but all fit the description "avant-garde" - because they are pushing the boundaries in their respective fields.

10 am-10 pm, until May 5. K11 Art Space, B3, 300 Huaihai Road M, Shanghai. http://k11.thewowa.com/cn/
