Ruan Chengfa appointed acting governor of SW China's Yunnan

KUNMING - Ruan Chengfa was appointed acting governor of Southwest China's Yunnan province Tuesday.

Ruan was also named deputy governor of the province at a session of the Standing Committee of the Yunnan People's Congress.

Ruan, who hails from the central province of Hubei, had previously worked for the provincial government of Hubei and was Party chief of Wuhan, the provincial capital.
