HK CE unveils first-ever five-year plan

Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu started delivering the SAR's first-ever five-year plan on Wednesday morning.
The strategic roadmap, which aims to align with the nation's 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30), will map out Hong Kong's development direction for a five-year term, covering areas such as the development of the Northern Metropolis, economy, innovation and technology, medical and social welfare.
After introducing the core of the five-year plan, Lee will continue to deliver the 2026 Policy Address, also the current administration's final annual policy blueprint.
Lee is expected to finish delivering the two documents in about three hours.
