Greek choreographer Christos Dopoulos’ new modern dance creation My Fierce Ignorant Step will make its Asian premiere from Oct 16-17.
Two stage adaptations of beloved film classics will make their debuts at Shanghai Grand Theatre in the new season. Four Weddings and a Funeral, directed by Li Ren, will have its China premiere from Jan 8-10, 2027. The original Chinese musical Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, adapted from Park Chan-wook’s South Korean film, will hit the theatre in June 2027. It is directed by Zhou Ke, with music by Broadway composer Jason Howland.
