The exhibition opens with an immersive installation that re-creates a descent from the ocean's surface to depths of 2,000 meters, where precious coral grows.

Raw and polished coral branches are displayed alongside maps identifying coral habitats, while exhibits distinguish precious coral from reef coral and explain their different ecological roles.

Displays also examine modern fishing regulations, trade practices and scientific research, highlighting growing efforts to improve sustainability and traceability.

Designed for visitors of all ages and backgrounds, the exhibition combines scholarly content with handson experiences. Interactive stations allow visitors to handle educational materials and explore the tools traditionally used in coral carving.

"Working with precious coral requires both technical sensitivity and respect for its fragility," Lee says.
