China launches the 15th Kinetica 1 carrier rocket, sending 5 satellites into orbit

CAS Space, a major commercial rocket maker in China, conducted the 15th flight of its Kinetica 1 rocket model on Friday morning.
In a news release, the Beijing-based company said that the rocket blasted off at 7:33 am from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region and transported five satellites into their preset orbital positions. It is the country's 53rd rocket launch this year.
It noted that this mission marked a rideshare launch service for five clients.
