Taiwan youth putting down roots in Daliang Mountains

A finance and law graduate who earned her degrees on the Chinese mainland, the Taiwan native Liao Yi-ting never imagined she would one day put down roots in the Daliang Mountains of Sichuan province and pursue a career in agriculture.
There, she built an orchid garden that now provides jobs for more than 80 villagers from Yi, Hui and Han ethnic groups.
