Committee member professor Vadim Gladyshev shared groundbreaking discoveries in age-defying science. Working with Dior Research Center, his team has developed a system that measures skin's biological age at the cellular level and identifies markers associated with aging.

Professor Gao Junping from the Department of Ornamental Horticulture at China Agricultural University, also a member of the committee, explained why the Granville Rose sits at the heart of Dior's skincare research. Developed through seven generations of hybridization and inheriting up to 18 genetic advantages of roses, the flower combines multiple genetic strengths, high chlorophyll levels and antioxidant-rich polyphenols, giving it exceptional resilience and making it the key botanical ingredient in the Dior Floral Secret series.

Dr Virginie Couturaud, director of scientific communication for Dior Perfumes and Cosmetics, also introduced the Granville Rose Garden, where the flowers used in Dior's skincare products are cultivated under a fully traceable growing process.
