Opening the summit, Cécile Koenig, international skincare market director for Dior Perfumes and Cosmetics, said the summit highlighted Dior's latest advances in "longevity science" and reaffirmed its long-term commitment to skincare research.
Dr Marie Videau, president of the LVMH Global Research Center, outlined the science behind skin aging. She noted that Dior has spent five decades studying skin biology, examining rejuvenation at the molecular, cellular, and tissue levels. Since 2023, Dior has collaborated with 19 scientists from leading international academic institutions to set up the the first Age-Defying Beauty Science Committee.
