Scenic areas have also stepped up protection for frontline workers. Employees at the Yangguan and Yumen Pass tourism area recently received training on heat prevention, emergency response, and first aid to improve their ability to handle high-temperature risks.

"We will continue to closely monitor weather changes, adjust our service measures accordingly, and ensure that every visitor to Dunhuang can enjoy a safe and comfortable journey," said Li Xiaoqing, deputy director of the Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Spring scenic area service center.
