Wang said China-Canada cultural exchanges have reached a new starting point. China hopes to cooperate with Canada to boost mutual understanding through cultural interactions, strengthen people-to-people connections via exchanges between civilizations, and achieve more progress in bilateral cultural exchanges to benefit people of both countries.

The concert formed part of Ottawa's Music and Beyond Festival. The orchestra performed classic Chinese folk music pieces and collaborated with local Canadian musicians onstage to present works reflecting mutual learning between different civilizations.
