The renewed exhibition consists of five sections that detail the discovery, excavation, research, and preservation of Zigong's dinosaur fossils.
Jiang Shan, a researcher at the museum, said many of the exhibits would debut, including the skull of a Mamenchisaurus youngi and the remains of a Huayangosaurus taibaii.
A major highlight is the digital transformation. The museum has adopted glasses-free 3D display, floor projection, MR (mixed reality) experiences, and laser projection to reconstruct dinosaur evolution and geological changes.
