China's spring recruitment campaign offers 12.68 million jobs to graduates
More than 12.68 million job vacancies were made available to university graduates during China's latest spring recruitment campaign, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security has said.
The nationwide joint city recruitment event, which recently concluded, saw 674,000 employers offer about 12.68 million positions. Through 23,000 online and offline job fairs, the campaign attracted about 13.52 million visits from graduate job seekers, according to the ministry.
During the campaign, local authorities focused on creating quality jobs in key sectors such as artificial intelligence, the low-altitude economy, green and low-carbon industries, advanced manufacturing and the digital economy.
Regional recruitment fairs were also organized for the country's western region and the Xiong'an New Area. Organizers used artificial intelligence and big data to provide graduates with tailored employment services, the ministry said.
