From Mexico to Shanghai, artifacts arrive for grand Americas exhibit

On June 6, after traveling more than 13,000 kilometers, the first batch of artifacts by chartered flight for the Shanghai Museum's exhibition, On Top of the World Tree: Ancient Civilizations of the Americas, arrived in Shanghai from Mexico. The exhibition will be held at the Shanghai Museum on People's Square from July 9 this year to Nov 14 next year, and will feature 1,129 groups of nearly 3,000 artifacts from Americas. Josimar Fuentes, an escort for the National Institute of Anthropology and History, Mexico, said: "This exhibition is a sign of the good relation that Mexico and China have."
