Xi's special envoy to attend presidential inauguration ceremonies of Djibouti, Uganda

BEIJING -- President Xi Jinping's special envoy Losang Jamcan will travel to Djibouti City for the inauguration of Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guelleh on May 9, and to Kampala for the inauguration of Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on May 12, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson announced on Wednesday.
Losang Jamcan, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, will attend the presidential inauguration ceremonies at the invitation of President Guelleh and President Museveni, respectively, according to the spokesperson.
