Local Chinese fashion brands and traditional designs take center stage at Shanghai event
The collection centered on classic Chinese silhouettes, including stand micro collars, cross and slant plackets, paired with cashmere and silk brocade, innovatively integrating intangible cultural heritage techniques like Miao embroidery and methods derived from Suzhou embroidery. Leveraging over 30 years of technical heritage, the brand delivered a contemporary reinterpretation of traditional Chinese costume craftsmanship.
Earlier this month, Chairman of EP Yaying Fashion Group Zhang Huaming noted at the concurrent MODE Shanghai Fashion Trade Show that the brand committed to its Chinese-style development path at its 30th anniversary, to find the brand's core "backbone". He noted the brand will co-create deeply with industry partners to promote contemporary Chinese aesthetics, develop high-quality local natural materials, and tell China's fashion story effectively.
