Chongqing celebrates wintersweet bloom with floriculture festival

Beibei district in Southwest China's Chongqing hosted a culture and arts festival on Sunday to celebrate the blooming season of the wintersweet, also known as chimonanthus. The flower is a characteristic flora of the municipality.
The district's Suxin village hosted the 8th Jingguan Cup Traditional Flower Arrangement Competition as part of the festivities. Competitors showcased the intricate aesthetics of Eastern floral design through chimonanthus arrangements.
