Passenger train derails in Heilongjiang

All passengers and staff members on board are safe and have been transferred after a train derailed on Sunday morning in Heihe city, Heilongjiang province, China Railway Harbin Group said on its official Sina Weibo account.
At around 3:50 am on Sunday, a construction vehicle operated by a local railway company in Heihe overturned and intruded into the railway line between Sunwu North Station and Chaoshui Station in the city, causing the first four carriages of No K5133 passenger train to derail, the group said.
Actively working with the local railway department, the group is carrying out rescue and recovery operations.
The line is expected to see normal traffic before Tuesday.
