Senior CPC official stresses sound planning, organization of education campaign

BEIJING -- Senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official Cai Qi has called for sound planning and organization of the ongoing education campaign on the study and implementation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.

Cai, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the campaign's central leading group, made the remarks at a meeting on this education campaign on Tuesday.

Acknowledging marked results achieved in the campaign so far, Cai said that through the campaign, local authorities and departments have made new progress in advancing high-quality development, with the people's sense of fulfillment, happiness, and security enhanced.

Cai called for fully utilizing the experience already gained during the education campaign. He also stressed the importance of solving practical problems and avoiding pointless formalities and bureaucratism.

Li Ganjie, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and executive deputy head of the campaign's central leading group, presided over the meeting.
