Gu also participates in many jewelry exhibitions, both at home and abroad, and with the assistance of short-video platforms, his handicrafts are receiving increasing attention overseas.

Some foreigners and overseas Chinese contacted him to buy his items. "Many foreigners think filigree inlay works present unique Chinese charm; while overseas Chinese see them as a reminder of home, without limitation of time and distance," said Gu.

"I'm glad to let the world know China in this way. As a young craftsman, it is my responsibility to spread our intangible cultural heritage and increase our cultural confidence."
