Shopping festival records 190 million consumers

The Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Greater Bay Area Shopping Festival recorded more than 30 million products and 190 million participating consumers, including over 1.2 million consumers in Hong Kong and Macao, with the total sales exceeding 100 billion yuan ($15.5 billion). Sales of mooncakes in the Greater Bay Area reached 9 million during the event. The organizer announced that the shopping festival will become an annual event, starting on Sept 2 each year.
