With the arrival of summer, the Changning district in Shanghai launched a carnival to offer nighttime fun to its citizens.
The carnival, which runs from June to August, includes five sections and over 50 activities aiming to cultivate the potential of nighttime consumption, in particular, by combining the soccer mania of the ongoing FIFA World Cup.
Cultural landmarks such as Hongqiao Art Center and Shanghai International Dance Center will put on performances. C Park will welcome themed tours from multiple bands and musicians at home and abroad. Also, Shanghai Zoo will extend its operation time to enable visitors to explore the unique behavior of nocturnal animals.
