On Monday, a seminar to launch and discuss the new book, We Forge Ahead on the Road to Realize the Great Rejuvenation of China under the Leadership of the CPC, was held in Beijing by the Development Research Center of the State Council.

Compiled by the center, the book offers a systematic retrospection and summary of the 100 years' journey of the Communist Party of China, especially its great achievement in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects from multiple dimensions, like economy, politics, technology and culture, in its 12 chapters.

"Through this book, we want to comprehensively display and explain our Party's magnificent journey and responsibility in leading people to overcome difficulties, forge ahead, create and explore the road, theory, system and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics, advance the process of building a moderately prosperous society in all aspects, and continue the struggle to realize the great rejuvenation of China," said Ma Jiantang, secretary of the center's Party Leadership Group.

"The book is an important achievement produced after we learned Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and will serve as a present to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the CPC's founding," he added.
