Starting Monday, China will halt regular passenger flights from and to UK, in response to a new coronavirus variant that has spread across Britain.

The temporary suspension will last until Jan 10, according to China's Civil Aviation Administration.

The administration also required relevant airlines to provide good services regarding ticket refund and air alterations for affected passengers.
