A seminar to promote two newly-published collections, Series of Studies on New Development Ideas and Series of Studies on Cultural Confidence, was held in Beijing on Nov 9.
Planned by the publicity department of Guangzhou city, South China's Guangdong province, the books show Guangzhou's development experience through examples and data, so as to provide reference to other cities.
The two collections contain nine books. They were planned in 2018 as result of a research on subjects related to Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.
According to Xu Yonghong, head of Guangzhou's publicity department, who also guided the compilation of the two series, "We hope to summarize Guangzhou's experience, and analyze the influence of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era in the city's development in the series."
