Xi's speech in Macao inspires warm response

"President Xi's emphasis on no foreign forces being allowed to interfere in Hong Kong and Macao's affairs is a signal sent to the world that the two SARs would never become bases for foreign forces to overturn the Chinese government and also a hint that the central government would act tough and proactive in dealing with foreign interference in the future," said Lau Siu-kai, Vice-president of the Chinese Association of Hong Kong and Macao Studies.
