China recorded nearly 648 million cross-regional passenger trips during the three-day Dragon Boat Festival holiday from Friday to Sunday, according to data released by the Ministry of Transport on Monday. The daily average was 215.95 million trips.
These figures reflect continued steady demand for domestic holiday travel and the stable operation of the country's transport network during peak periods.
