A book-sharing event to discuss Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella's autobiography Hit Refresh: The Quest to Rediscover Microsoft's Soul and Imagine a Better Future for Everyone was held in Beijing on December 3.
Held by Microsoft AI Business School and CITIC Academy under CITIC Press Group, the event invited Kang Rong, vice-president of Microsoft China, and Cao Yangfeng, director of Institute of Global Entrepreneurship&Innovation, to discuss the book.
Cao stressed the importance of enterprises' transformation for better development. "To some extent, transformation means to change a way of thinking and provide more value to customers," Cao said.
Kang clarified how Microsoft has transformed under Nadella's leadership, saying the three main things that changed are Microsoft's mission, strategy and culture.
"And Microsoft's transformation is continuing," Kang said.
