Documentary shows 'Life is Marvelous' through average Chinese

On Thursday, the documentary film Changing China: Life is Marvelous Because of You premiered in Beijing.

The film focuses on the lives and careers of some ordinary young people, including a humorous young teacher who is welcomed by his students, a delivery man who dreams of becoming an excellent boxer, and a mural researcher who stayed in the Gobi Desert for eight years.

According to Cheng Gong, the director of the documentary, "The film was created to show the hardworking, sincere and friendly Chinese people to the world. The several individuals shown in it represent many other ordinary Chinese people."

The film will publicly air on Friday, and a two-episode documentary with the same title will also air on Dec 20.
