Panchen Lama attends premiere of anthology in Tibet

"The inheritance and promotion of the successive Panchen Lamas' thoughts on patriotism and devotion in religion is crucial for propelling Tibetan Buddhism in modern times to better embrace socialism with Chinese characteristics," said Panchen Lama.
"The Anthology of Panchen Lamas has a profound historical significance and is a valuable resource for Buddhists, religious scholars, and especially young generations to systematically learn the essence of the successive Panchen Lamas in patriotism and religious devotion," he said.
The Anthology of Panchen Lamas is part of the Tibetan language volume of Zhonghua Dadian (Chinese Encyclopedia), which was approved by the state during the country's 12th Five-Year Plan (2011-15) as a key cultural project in 2011.
