Sudoku champs face off in Prague

The 13th World Sudoku Championship, attracting 248 contestants from 33 countries and regions, wrapped up in Prague, capital of the Czech Republic, on Nov 7.

This year, a total of 16 Chinese representatives with an average age of 17 participated in the championship, and eight were selected from the 2018 China Sudoku Championship in August.

In the group competitions, Japan claimed the championship, followed by China and Germany which respectively took runner-up and third place.

Separately, Chinese representatives Ming Letian, Dai Tantan and Chen Shiyu have respectively taken the top three positions in the individual Sudoku competition held for the U-18 group.
