20 sentenced for making drugs in South China's Guangxi

NANNING -- A court in South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region has sentenced 20 people for illegally making drugs.
The 20 suspects were sentenced to three to 15 years in jail, according to the ruling by the People's Court of Fengshan County.
The drug gang was found secretly manufacturing drugs in a chicken farm and a wood factory in Fengshan County. Investigations showed they had been purchasing drug-producing materials from neighboring Guangdong Province, and hiring local unemployed people to manufacture the drugs.
The gang was busted on May 25, with more than 100 tonnes of drug manufacturing materials seized at the scene.
