Osman Hulusi Takci

My name is Osman Hulusi TAKCI. I am from Turkey and I spent the most of my education life in Istanbul.

In that sense, I got my BA degree from Boğaziçi University in Business Administration and Management. Moreover, I have interned and intermittently worked as a sale assistant in some prestigious companies during my bachelor study. After graduating from Boğaziçi University, I have started Master’s Degree in Ankara-based Middle East Technical University on International Relations.

Throughout Master study, I have worked in Ankara-based think-tank, USAK. I specially focused on Chinese Political Economy, China’s Foreign Policy especially on Middle East in not only my academic studies but also think-tank-based researches. Since my main area of interest is China, I have decided to come China, thus, I have eventually enrolled in China’s Politics and Economy MA Program at Shanghai Jiao Tong University with the support of CSC Scholarship.

I hope that this experience will provide me with the large opportunities to be able to discover China’s unique cultural roots and to contemplate the deep Chinese thought.China has opened up my horizon to be able to think more global and to act more open-minded towards against the cultural diversity. I have made so distinguished friends and so productive networks within a very limited time since I came to Shanghai. Chinese is another attractive and valuable asset to be noted in my China experience. I have introduced a lot of Chinese characters reminding me a wide range of people who I know in my personal life in the past. That’s why I thing that learning Chinese is a very concentrated way of being more involved in China.
