Editor’s Note: Traffic rules may be a little different in various countries around the world - and sometimes people avoid following the rules that bother them. One of our forum reader WhiteBear - who drives a scooter – suggests that people who have recently arrived in China should pay more attention to driving habits and tips than to the country’s rules. Here is some of his advice – which may be useful for newcomers who wish to try their hand at driving in China.
1. Be careful - bigger vehicles seem to have more rights simply because they are bigger (and they "don't see the smaller ones").
