Stick to the first

The new Face, the second one in Shanghai, is nestled inside Pudong's Dongjiao State Guest Hotel, far from the hustle-bustle of the city. And the people behind Face have retained its inimitable style-lush colors, South East Asian decor, comfy Chinese beds and their well-known tranquil and exotic surroundings. But the new Face is bigger than the old one in Ruijin Hotel in central downtown.

The first floor has a 200-square-meter bar and another 200-square-meter veranda; the second a private room serving Japanese food for up to twelve diners, a Moroccan restaurant with a large balcony as well as a Thai restaurant that can seat 150 people. The second floor even has a bathing and changing room, keeping in mind the number of people who head straight from work. The dishes are diverse with a menu created by the famed head chef Eric Perez, which includes home-made bread, French cakes, chocolate and ice-cream.
