The First China-Africa People's Forum, co-organized by China NGO Network for International Exchanges and Kenya's Non-Governmental Organizations Coordination Board, will be held from August 29-30 in Nairobi, Kenya.

The theme of the forum is "Enhance Partnership and Promote Friendship between China and Africa".

A plenary session will set its theme on the dialogue and cooperation between Chinese and African people. And six sub-sessions will discuss following issues:

1 Climate change and food security in China and Africa

2 Credibility and transparency of NGOs in China and Africa

3 Relationship between NGOs and the government, enterprises and the community

4 How to protect traditional culture and promote development of education in China and Africa

5 The role women and the youth play in the development of China and Africa

6 Experience in the battle against AIDS in China and Africa
