Li Xi appointed Guangdong CPC chief, replacing Hu Chunhua

BEIJING - The Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee on Saturday said it has appointed Li Xi as the secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the CPC, replacing Hu Chunhua.

Li will no longer serve as secretary of the CPC's Liaoning Provincial Committee.

Yu Weiguo was appointed as the secretary of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee, replacing You Quan.

Wang Dongfeng was appointed as the secretary of the CPC Hebei Provincial Committee, replacing Zhao Kezhi.

Chen Qiufa was appointed as the secretary of the CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee.
