Heilongjiang blast kills 2, injures 25

At least two people were killed and another 25 were injured after an explosion early Thursday morning in a residential building in Heilongjiang province, local authorities said.

The blast occurred at about 5:26 am on Thursday, the Xinhua News Agency reported.

Police received a report about the blast and immediately went to the scene.

Firefighters tackled and extinguished a blaze and the injured were sent to a hospital. Police are still investigating the cause of the blast.
