3 dead, 2 buried after SW China landslide

GUIYANG - Three people are dead and two remain buried after a landslide in Southwest China's Guizhou province, rescuers said Wednesday.

Around 2 am Wednesday, five people were found buried in debris after a landslide occurred around 10 pm Tuesday in Zhushi township of Hezhang county, said the county government.

Three of the victims died in the hospital due to injuries, and two others remain hospitalized.

More than 600 rescuers are still searching for two other people who remain trapped in the debris.
