Veteran oilman to tend China's state assets
BEIJING - Jiang Jiemin, former board chairman of the China National Petroleum Corporation, has been appointed head of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, according to the commission's official website updated on Monday.
Jiang resigned from the country's largest oil and gas producer earlier this month after his predecessor Wang Yong was promoted to the cabinet.
