5 dead, 2 injured after being hit by truck

NANNING - Five passers-by were killed and two others injured after being hit by a trailer truck in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region Tuesday, local authorities said.
The accident happened on a highway near Qinzhou city at about 6 pm, local traffic police announced in a statement.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident, it said.
